Frequently asked questions
My alarm is quiet or silent. How do I make it louder?
Horo Glass alarms are notifications, so their volume follows your iPhone's ringer volume — not the media volume. Turn off Silent Mode and raise the ringer (Settings → Sounds & Haptics). Horo Glass also fires a repeat burst — up to ten alerts over about a minute — so a missed first ring still catches you. Note that iOS does not allow third-party apps to override the ringer or Silent Mode.
How do I make my day start at 9 AM instead of midnight?
Choose the Custom 24 Hour mode and set your day's origin to any hour. The whole dial re-centers: your chosen hour becomes hour zero, and the minute before it becomes 23:59 of the previous day.
Can a time range cross midnight?
Yes. A range like 10 PM–2 AM works exactly as you'd expect, and ranges can also span absolute calendar dates — useful for counting down the days that remain to a deadline.
I bought Horo Pro on another device. How do I get it back?
Open the paywall and tap Restore Purchases while signed into the same Apple Account you bought it with. Horo Pro is a one-time purchase tied to your Apple Account, so it follows you across your devices at no extra cost.
What exactly does Horo Pro include?
Two things: task chains (named tasks with per-task minutes, run back to back, with an alarm at each hand-off and a "Begin next task" button in the app and the widget) and full theme customization (five presets plus custom colors). Everything else — all three clock modes, alarms, widgets, and the watch app — is free.
Is Horo Pro a subscription?
No. It's a single $4.99 purchase. There is no subscription, no trial that converts, and no recurring charge of any kind.
My widget isn't updating. What can I do?
iOS refreshes widgets on its own schedule to save battery, so brief lag is normal. If a widget seems stuck, try removing and re-adding it, and make sure Low Power Mode is off. Opening the app also nudges everything current.
Does the Apple Watch app need the iPhone nearby?
Your configuration syncs from the phone, so keep both on the same Apple Account. Once synced, the watch shows your dial and complications on its own; changes you make on the phone flow over automatically.
How do I request a refund?
Purchases are processed by Apple, so refunds go through them: visit reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in, and choose the Horo Pro purchase. Apple handles the decision per App Store policy.
What data does Horo Glass collect about me?
None. No accounts, no analytics, no tracking, no servers. Everything stays on your device — see our privacy policy for the full statement.
